Any organisation, whether they are part of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting or not, can deliver the Voices against Violence curriculum.
For safety reasons, we have not made it publicly available. Instead, we ask that any organization interested in using Voices against Violence submit an expression of interest to the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts so we can assess their capacity to deliver a programme on such a sensitive and potentially harmful subject.
What support will WAGGGS provide organisations to help them to deliver the Voices against Violence curriculum safely?
Training through ACTIVATE events
ACTIVATE events are global and regional workshops that provide training on understanding gender-based violence, busting harmful myths and give an opportunity to practice delivering the curriculum with expert guidance.
Guidelines available to all partners and Member Organisations to support with the cascading down of the training after the ACTIVATE event to Leaders at a national level. You will receive these after attending an ACTIVATE event.
Monitoring and Evaluation tools
After an ACTIVATE event, you will receive a monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework that compares participants' understanding of violence against girls before and after the programme measuring the impact of the curriculum.
Connections to potential partners
We are happy to help set up specific support for our Member Organisations at a national level, either with another organisation delivering the curriculum, the national section of one of our global partners or directly with WAGGGS expert staff.
In some cases we can provide organisations funding to roll out the curriculum or smaller grants for such things as attending training. We can also provide associations support with obtaining funding from other sources. Email email@example.com.
Find Stop the Violence campaign communication materials, such as films, press releases, brochures and posters on the resources section. Use those to promote your work and encourage others to join you!
