Deliver the Voices against Violence curriculum

Any organisation, whether they are part of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting or not, can deliver the Voices against Violence curriculum.

For safety reasons, we have not made it publicly available. Instead, we ask that any organization interested in using Voices against Violence submit an expression of interest to the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts so we can assess their capacity to deliver a programme on such a sensitive and potentially harmful subject.

What support will WAGGGS provide organisations to help them to deliver the Voices against Violence curriculum safely?

Girl Guides in Togo are training teachers

Training through ACTIVATE events

ACTIVATE events are global and regional workshops that provide training on understanding gender-based violence, busting harmful myths and give an opportunity to practice delivering the curriculum with expert guidance.

Connections to potential partners

We are happy to help set up specific support for our Member Organisations at a national level, either with another organisation delivering the curriculum, the national section of one of our global partners or directly with WAGGGS expert staff.

Obtaining funding

In some cases we can provide organisations funding to roll out the curriculum or smaller grants for such things as attending training. We can also provide associations support with obtaining funding from other sources. Email stoptheviolence@wagggs.org.
