Olivia Funnell, Head of Europe Region
In conjunction with the Regional Committee, the Head of Region develops, implements and monitors the plans to deliver the WAGGGS Europe regional strategy. She oversees multiple workstreams and works in collaboration with the Head of Membership at the global level to ensure alignment and delivery of the global strategy via the region. The role is responsible for managing the staff team of the Europe Region in line with WAGGGS Règlement de travail, Belgian employment law and WAGGGS values to ensure that they provide high-quality services to both volunteers and our Member Organisations (MOs).

Aina Fontanella Morera, Membership & Network Manager
The Membership & Network Manager acts as the lead contact for MOs in Europe and ensures the smooth flow of information between them and WAGGGS. The role is also responsible for supporting the region’s needs through data analysis of surveys and partnership work with members. The role monitors capacity assessments, facilitates MO's access to services and collates their feedback which is fed into regional plans. In addition, the role supports the capacity building offer for European MOs in collaboration with the Quality Guiding and Girl Scouting working group. The role requires the support and management of volunteers, the coordination of facilitators and contributions to the regional offer from MOs, the management of evaluation, and the use of online platforms and collaborative tools.

Eirini Kappou, Programmes Manager
The Programmes Manager co-leads the creation and implementation of key European programmes and events such as The Academy, the Regional Conference programme and non-annual large-scale events such as the European Jamboree and Roverway. They facilitate and tailor the delivery of WAGGGS programmes to meet the needs of European MOs. This includes supporting volunteers, taking care of logistics as well as having an overview of the programme. They work directly with, and provide support to MOs ensuring positive experiences for individuals involved in projects and positive outcomes for Membership generally.

Laura Martin, Regional Administration Officer
The Regional Administration Officer supports the Head of the Region and the Regional Committee by ensuring the administration, systems and processes are undertaken efficiently. This includes management of the office, relationships with suppliers and travel logistics for volunteers. The role coordinates the development of the Europe region’s space on WAGGGS’ new digital training and networking platform ‘Campfire’ as well as ensuring that the MO contact database and office knowledge management system are up-to-date. In conjunction with the Head of Region, the administrator undertakes the practical arrangements for the Regional Committee governance meetings including minute taking and following up on actions ensuring review needs are communicated to the Head of Region and Committee Chair. Together with the Communications Working Group, the Administration Officer is responsible for updating the online platforms of the Europe Region as well as sending the main communications to our Member Organisations, including Euromail, WeConnect and Campfire.

Marijana Mitrovic, Fundraising Manager
Fundraising Manager brings added value to the Europe Region by reaching to the EU Funds and European governmental institutions. This role supports the region to deliver its regional plan more effectively in several ways, focusing on targeting structural and administrative grants to reinforce the current operational work which underpins the region’s support to its Members Organisations. In addition, the Fundraising Manager, jointly with the Head of Region and a great deal of support from the Regional Committee targets grants which support and develop specific projects and programmes that respond to the needs of our European Members Organisations.
