People of all ages are welcome to join the Olave Baden-Powell Society and get involved in investing in and giving back to the Movement. It is never too early or too late to start!
As an OB-PS ‘Young Supporter’, you will be confirming your commitment to providing educational support to girls and young women around the world. With over ten million members, WAGGGS is the world's leading organisation for girls and young women. Being one of our Young Supporters will bring you greater involvement and engagement with a truly global Movement.
Young Supporters benefit from a wide range of opportunities in networking, mentoring and personal development. Many of our current supporters have a great deal of experience in the voluntary sector, have had successful professional careers and are happy to share their expertise and knowledge with our Young Supporters.
How to join
Anybody under the age of 35 can join OB-PS as a Young Supporter by making a donation of £1,000 towards the wonderful work undertaken by WAGGGS.
1. Fill in the pledge form and send it to us at obps@wagggs.org. If you are pledging from the USA, please use this online pledge form.
2. Make a donation of £1,000 supporting the work undertaken by WAGGGS
Gift a deserving Young Supporter
Sponsoring a deserving young person to become an OB-PS Young Supporter would make a wonderful gift. Please get in touch with us if you would like to gift £1,000 or more to enable a young person to become an OB-PS Young Supporter.
Get involved!
Our Young Supporters are the future of the Olave Baden-Powell Society and we want them to be involved in the Society, helping us in our work to support the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. There are so many ways in which you can get involved, just some of which are:
- Attend local OB-PS meetings, encouraging individuals to pledge their support
- Spread the word - let the world know what we are doing and why it is so important
- Fundraise for OB-PS and help us raise much need funds
The options are endless and you can do as much as you wish to support OB-PS. In return we offer you the opportunity to support a cause you are truly passionate about, along with all the benefits offered to all of our generous supporters.
