Development of the Movement
Girlguiding* was officially recognised in 1910 and now has four sections – Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers. Girlguiding has members in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and in the British Overseas Territories and Crown Dependencies.
