What do we do?

Investing in tomorrow's young women leaders lies at the heart of our work. We aim to develop girls and young women's leadership potential through direct project work, educational programmes, leadership training, regional campaigns and advocacy work.

The Region is growing every year and we aim to reach two million girls and young women by 2020. Our Membership Development Strategy focuses on working with our Member Organisations to deliver high quality and relevant Girl Guide and Girl Scout programmes.

We learn from our members' expertise and experience of working with young people to inform WAGGGS’ global and regional programme. We want to exchange ideas and facilitate the sharing of information across the region.

Our Member Organisations work with young people on a range of topics including girls’ rights, education, environmental issues and many more through non-formal education, leadership and advocacy programmes.
