The Juseon Byun Leadership was created to nuture the leadership of young women.
The aim is to focus leadership related projects in the Asia Pacific Region to ensure a pool of well-trained young women for growing the movement into the future.
The JBL fund was named after Juseon Byun to celebrate her 80th birthday and the 20th anniversary of Friends of Asia Pacific.

Guidelines for Juseon Byun Leadership Fund
The maximum amount that can be awarded by the JBL Fund is GBP 15, 000 per triennium for Asia Pacific Regional Events and GBP 10, 000 per triennium (project) / GBP 500 - 2,000 (individual) for Young Women events. This sum will be divided as described in the document, however there is room for change in how this is distributed as long as FAPW are advised of the change.
