We would like to inform you about an exciting opportunity that is coming up this June. WAGGGS is organising a Stop the Violence Facilitators Workshop, from the 5 to 11 June in Ghana.
The workshop’s goal is to bring together experienced trainers and facilitators that have worked in the training and delivery of the Voices against Violence curriculum and Stop the Violence Advocacy Campaign. Workshop participants will work with the planning team to create an updated ACTIVATE generic training plan and its sessions, incorporating the WAGGGS new leadership model and the step-by-step training for a national advocacy campaign.
We are looking for people who have experience in delivering the Voices against Violence programme in their country and overall training experience in their Association. During the five-day workshop, participants will share successful practices and tools used to deliver the Voices against Violence curriculum and the Stop the Violence Campaign.
The training will be conducted in English so interested applicants need to be able to speak and work in a standard English to discuss and contribute their input for the Stop the Violence campaign training content. For more information about the event and the application form, please find attached.
The deadline for applications is 10 May 2019.
Please let Clémence Joris (Clemence.Joris@wagggs.org) know if you have any questions and please also forward her your application.
