About World Food Day
World Food Day (WFD) is a day of action dedicated to tackling world hunger centred around SDG 2 - Zero Hunger.
Every 16 October, the FAO (Food and Agricultural Organisation of the United Nations) brings together partners around the world to promote food security and nutritious diets for all.
Healthy Diets for a Zero Hunger World
The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) is joining the World Food Day call for action across sectors to make healthy, sustainable diets affordable and accessible to everyone.
