Heidi Jokinen has been elected as Chair of the World Board from August 2020 to World Conference 2021 and Tashia Batstone has been elected as Vice-Chair.
We are delighted that we can now announce the new Chair and Vice Chair of the World Board, following an open, fair and transparent process in June 2020. Heidi Jokinen has been elected as Chair of the World Board from August 2020 to World Conference 2021 and Tashia Batstone has been elected as Vice-Chair for the same period.
As you will know, during this triennium, Tashia has ably served as Treasurer of the World Board and her appointment as Vice-Chair now creates a vacancy for Treasurer up to World Conference 2021. If a suitable candidate is not available amongst the World Board, we can appoint a suitably qualified person from outside of the Board. Due to the short-term nature of this appointment, and the need for continuity and stability during the current pandemic, we have decided to search for a candidate from amongst the members of the Audit, Finance & Risk Committee.
