A WAGGGS' badge programme to enable girls and young women explore climate issues and initiate climate solutions.
The Girl-Led Action on Climate Change (GLACC) badge curriculum was co-created with the Girl Guides and Girl Scouts from Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). It began with adaptations rooted in country-specific climate contexts and was later expanded for use across the Global South, ensuring the curriculum remains relevant, inclusive, and responsive to diverse local realities.
You can use this programme if you are a Girl Guide or Girl Scout unit leader, local commissioner, trainer or national volunteer in any Member Organisation based in the Global South.
