From 24th to 28th May, 2023 all Girl Guides and Girl Scouts worldwide are invited to join the YESS Girls’ Movement to celebrate Red Pride Week, counting down to Menstrual Hygiene Day.

Red Pride Week is a time for us to raise awareness on menstruation and to call decision makers to action on issues that affect girls and young women when they menstruate.
The global theme for the Red Pride Week is: #WeAreCommitted to #RedPride
Girl Guides and Girl Scouts will join forces to stand up for menstruators worldwide, breaking down stigma and barriers to help create a world where no-one is held back because they have periods.

The Red Pride Week Activity Pack

Written by young women from across the Africa and Asia-Pacific regions, these activities address menstruation and how it affects girls. Issues addressed include mental health; period poverty; accessibility to sanitary wear; awareness creation and stakeholder calls to action.
