Europe Region WAGGGS outlines its strategy for overcoming gender and diversity barriers in the Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting associations within the region. This document recognises that Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting does not operate within its own universe. It is embedded in society and therefore is not free from a cultural setting where gender- and diversity-related inequality prevails. The steps outlined within this document will help Europe Region Member Organizations to assess their current approach to gender, particularly in relation to leadership roles, and support them to recruit and retain a more diverse membership.
