Caroline is from the Peak District, a rural area in the United Kingdom. She first joined Girlguiding at age 7 as a Brownie and has never looked back. Guiding has shaped how she leads in all areas of her life, given her confidence, and introduced her to lifelong friendships and new perspectives. She has held several volunteer roles in Girlguiding UK, including Lead Volunteer for GOLD, working with Member Organisations across Europe and beyond to build equitable partnerships and meaningful peer learning.

Professionally, she runs an accessible hospitality business in the UK and has previously worked in museums, leading creative projects and championing inclusion. She brings experience in strategy, communications, and measuring and sharing impact. She is excited to work with the whole Committee together to foster a Region where Member Organisations feel more connected and where even more girls and young women get the chance to discover what they’re capable of.

Growing up in the international world of Guiding and Scouting, Ronja's involvement with WAGGGS really began in 2018 when she volunteered at Nuestra Cabaña. Since then she held various roles such as Austrian WAGGGS Young Delegate and Regional volunteer. She brings a strong commitment to meaningful youth participation and environmental sustainability. Professionally, she holds a degree in International Business and Administration and is currently pursuing Political Science. The remaining time she likes to spend with friends, family, exploring nature and culture through books, food and music.

Kety Tyson: Kety is a Georgian educator, trainer, and civic activist with over 30 years in the Girl Guide and Scout movement. A founding member of Georgian Girl Scouts Association “Dia,” she has served as Chief and Training Commissioner. She designs training programs on leadership, communication, and personal development, and works internationally as an instructional designer. Kety also leads the Georgian translation team for the Landmark Forum. She is the heart behind Villa Loma — a forest retreat for learning and community. Inspired by Jonathan Livingston Seagull, she believes in rising beyond limitations and helping others find their wings. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, crafting, writing, and learning new things. Her leadership is rooted in service, courage, and joyful curiosity.

My name is Koraline van Dijk, and I've been a Girl Scout for almost 30 years, from a seascout at my local group in the Netherlands, to a trainer in my local region and facilitator at Roverway 2024. Facilitating conversations and learning, making sure all voices are heard and valued, is very important to me. Training is also something I do in my professional life as a trainer and claims handler for an insurance company. Fun fact: I can tell you everything about vehicle liability rules even though I don't have a driver's license. Outside of work, I love to be outdoors and go for a walk in my hometown, bike around the city or go for a swim, and I also love to read books and do arts and crafts.
I'm really looking forward to working together with the rest of the Europe Region Committee, building a strong team with them and the wider team, so we can support our member organisations in what they do best: creating safe spaces for girls and young women to lead.

Maëlle Chapuis Mirol is a committed 26 years old youth leader and advocate for gender equality, ecological transition, and intercultural dialogue.  She brings experience in non-formal education, youth empowerment, and international cooperation through her active involvement with Scoutisme Français.

Maëlle holds a dual degree in political science and European affairs from Sciences Po Bordeaux and the University of Turin, with a specialization in the governance of ecological transition. Her academic background has equipped her with strong skills in public policy analysis, project management, and international collaboration. She works in public administration on the ecological transition of small businesses.

Throughout her journey in Guiding and Scouting, Maëlle has taken on a variety of educational, civic, and solidarity-based roles at local, national, and international levels. As a leader,  national trainer, and deputy WAGGGS international commissioner, volunteer project leader,  WAGGGS facilitator and volunter She has developed expertise in project coordination, facilitation, and supporting young people in their engagement pathways. She is particularly passionate about strengthening the quality of educational programmes, enhancing youth and women’s participation in governance, and fostering inclusive leadership.

Deeply committed to feminist and environmental causes, Maëlle is also active in cultural and civic life. She believes in the transformative power of Guiding and Scouting and is dedicated to supporting Member Organizations in delivering inclusive, empowering, and high-quality educational experiences for girls and young women across Europe

Olivia has been a guide since 2002 and discovered WAGGGS and that she has friends in Guiding and Scouting all around the world in 2012, and has since been involved in WAGGGS in different ways. She is looking forward to continuing to work closely with the MOs of the Europe Region to strengthen WAGGGS in the region. In her professional life, she works with governance questions in a youth organisation.
