Make a difference at European Jamboree 2020. Apply to be a WAGGGS volunteer!
We are looking for inspiring young facilitators to design and deliver WAGGGS educational activities for Guides and Scouts at European Jamboree 2020 (EJ2020).

About European Jamboree 2020
This European large-scale event for around 17 000 Guides and Scouts aged 14-18 is a joint event co-organised by WAGGGS & WOSM and hosted by the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association (ZHP). EJ2020 will take place in Gdańsk, Poland from 27th July to 7th August 2020.
Theme for the European Jamboree 2020 is ACT. Imagine Scouts and Guides not only talking about change, imagine Scouts and Guides joining the European Jamboree to ACT. It corresponds with the Jamboree’s Educational Goals and creates the foundation for an exciting programme for participants.

Practical information
Selected applicants are expected to attend a preparatory event for WAGGGS team which will take place 27 - 31 May 2020 (arrivals on Tuesday, 26th May).
Your participation in this activity will be significantly supported by the European Contribution and a European institutional donor. However, a small participation fee of 50 EUR was set for all WAGGGS facilitators.
WAGGGS facilitators are expected to camp and work outdoors. Accommodation at EJ2020 will be in a tent. Accommodation at the preparatory event will be in a youth hostel/guide centre venue.
Please note that we may decide to videotape some sessions, or use the photos taken during the meetings for promotion/visibility purposes. If you are not comfortable with this, and do not consent to use of your image for WAGGGS or EJ2020 communication please let us know.
