Danish Jamboree 2022

In 2022, 40,000 Danish and international Scouts and Guides from all over the world will be gathering in Hedeland, at Europe’s biggest Jamboree of the year. The Jamboree will offer fellowship, outdoor activities, and challenges to children, youth and adults. Hedeland is where water, nature and outdoor adventure meet and it will provide opportunities, both traditional and unique activities, for Scouts and Guides. Apart from the unique activities, Scouts and Guides will sleep in tents, cook their own meals over open fire and will need to pioneer dinner tables etc. using only wooden pools and ropes.

About the event

Where: Hedeland. A 30 minute drive from Denmark's capital, Copenhagen (55.62257 12.18210)

Start date: 23 July 2022

End date: 31 July 2022

Age range of youth participants: From 6 to 18 years old. It is recommended that international youth have turned 13, to get the best experience. 18+ participants can join as part of the Service Team.

Who can get involved: It is open to both boys and girls.

Fees: The fee includes all food, activities and transport to/from designated entry and exit points. Tents and cooking/camping equipment will be available to rent.

Please note, the Jamboree will not centrally organise home hospitality.
