Who are Friends of Africa Region WAGGGS?
A special donor group set up for supporters of the WAGGGS Africa Region. Your donations ensure that girls from across the Africa Region can access even more opportunities to develop themselves, take the lead in their lives and reach their full potential .
Can I join?
Friends of Africa Region WAGGGS is open to any individual who supports our vision for girls in the Africa Region, and who donates £80 or more towards the Africa Region.
There are 4 levels, all of which are based on your lifetime giving (ask us if you're not sure), so once you're eligible for one of our levels, you can be a Friend for life!
Friends of Africa Region WAGGGS Giving Levels
To join, donate the amount for your chosen level. To upgrade, pay the difference between your current level and new level.
Silver - £80
Gold - £200
Diamond - £300
Major Donor - £1000
As a Friend of Africa Region WAGGGS you will:
- Support and empower girls across the Africa Region, helping them become responsible citizens of the world
- Join a global group of individuals committed to empowering girls
- Be kept up to date with the latest news and information on projects and campaigns
- Receive a special pin and certificate
- Receive invitations to special, regional events
Join the Olave Baden-Powell Society and Friends of Africa Region WAGGGS
You can join both the Olave Baden-Powell Society and Friends of Africa Region WAGGGS. Just fill in the form above and check the box 'I want to join OB-PS as well'. We'll get in touch to confirm the rest.
You can join OB-PS by making a £6,000 donation to WAGGGS. £1,000 of your donation will go towards the Africa Region, making you a Major Donor Friend of Africa as well as an OB-PS supporter.
