Europe Region Gender and Diversity Mainstreaming Toolkit

Embracing inclusion is a matter of well-being.

WAGGGS Europe Region have worked alongside many brilliant Member Organisations (MOs) across the region to develop a Gender and Diversity mainstreaming toolkit. This toolkit will support MOs and leaders to reflect on how they are promoting inclusion. It will support them to review how they can adapt what they do to be more inclusive from a gender and diversity perspective.

The toolkit looks specifically at six core areas:

• Membership
• Educational Programme
• Relation to Society
• Finance
• Structure
• Management and Training

Through five key questions, it ensures the toolkit is relevant for all shapes of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting across our diverse and dynamic Region. The toolkit provides examples from both girl-only and co-educational settings.
