YLACC Resources

A resource for Europe Region

Youth-Led Action on Climate Change (YLACC) is an engaging and youth-centred climate education programme, adapted from Girl-Led Action on Climate Change (GLACC) for the WAGGGS Europe Region and funded by the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe. Rooted in non-formal education and the values of Guiding and Scouting, YLACC empowers young people to build their knowledge, raise their voices, and take meaningful action on climate change in their communities and beyond. Through a strong focus on climate justice, leadership, and advocacy, the programme supports participants to become confident changemakers and active global citizens. YLACC has been co-created with and for young people, drawing on the insights of 20 Europe Region Member Organisations and 104 young people from 22 European countries, ensuring it reflects their realities, responds to their concerns, and addresses the barriers they face in taking climate action.
