GLACC Programme Coordinator

The Project Coordinator will oversee the successful delivery of the Girl-Led Action in Climate Change (GLACC) project implemented by WAGGGS’ Member Organizations (MOs) in Madagascar, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda under the partnership with UNICEF Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Office (ESARO).

Location: Home-based from countries where WAGGGS can contract for services from Madagascar, Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania

Hours / Tenure : Part-time, 21 hours per week 

Contract Type: 15 months, Fixed term contract

Salary / Fee: Dependent on location and experience, as a rough guide full time fee would be circa £700 per month.

About the Role:

This part-time role will coordinate the planning, delivery, monitoring, and reporting of the project across those four countries, ensuring high-quality implementation, timely progress, and strong collaboration with UNICEF ESARO and WAGGGS.

The Project Coordinator will also play a key role in strengthening the capacity of national Member Organizations, supporting advocacy efforts, and ensuring that girls and young women are meaningfully engaged in climate action.
