Where is Pax Lodge?
Pax Lodge is ideally located in the North West London suburb of Hampstead. Just a few short stops from the hustle and bustle of central London, Hampstead is also the setting for the natural beauty of Hampstead Heath. No wonder artistic and literary types like Romantic poet John Keats, Paul McCartney and Emma Thompson all chose to call Hampstead home!
Pax Lodge is a 10 minute walk uphill from the Belsize Park Tube station, and is a five minute walk from the Royal Free Hospital. Directly across from Pax Lodge is a former Victorian church that is now home to Air Studios.
Restaurants, shops and supermarkets surround Pax Lodge on all sides. You can either choose to walk uphill and visit the little Georgian village of Hampstead or stay down in Belsize Village. If you wander a little farther away from Pax, Camden Market is at the very bottom of Haverstock Hill and specializes in food stalls, vintage clothes, and quirky trinkets.
We are next door to the World Bureau. All our guests are asked to enter through the glass doors, where you’ll be greeted by members of the Pax Lodge team.
