World Thinking Day greeting cardWith World Thinking Day fast approaching, we’d like to remind you of ways that you can begin getting involved...

Firstly: make sure you’ve downloaded the free activity packs, then be sure to purchase your badges and pins in WAGGGS shop. Planning an activity? Make sure you tell everyone all about it on our activity log.

Next – have you created your own greeting cards? Then don’t forget to upload these to our Flickr group! It’s quick and easy to upload them: simply head over to our Flickr group, sign in, upload your card and add it to our group! It will then automatically feature in our gallery.

Now, why not send one of the WAGGGS World Thinking Day e-cards to friends around the world? There is no charge to send the e-card, but please consider making a donation to the WAGGGS World Thinking Day Fund to show your support for empowering girls and young women.

This year we want to start a global trend on Twitter – and we need your help! So, on World Thinking Day (22 February 2013), we want you to use #WTD2013 in all of your tweets. We believe that if we all join together we can definitely create a trend!

Don’t forget there's still time to donate to the World Thinking Day Fund – in fact, you can donate all year round!

We’d also like to remind you that although we have suggested five focus countries – Republic of Ireland, Jordan, Malawi, Pakistan and Venezuela – we want you to focus your attention wherever you feel it is needed and, most importantly, join together to take action on issues affecting our world.

One last thing, we’d love to hear your feedback on the MDG4 and MDG5 activity packs so please spare a moment to complete our new survey.

Now…Let the countdown to World Thinking Day 2013 begin!
