About the UN General Assembly

From 25 to 27 September 2015, world leaders from 193 countries will convened at the UN Headquarters in New York.

At this assembly, leaders agreed on the new 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The 17 new Sustainable Development Goals – which succeed and expand on the Millennium Development Goals - set out an ambitious framework for combating poverty, inequality, and injustice.
