Giving Together

The Olave Baden-Powell Society brings together friends and families.

Would you like to give more opportunities to young women and girls and support future generations?

You can support OB-PS by becoming a supporter and encouraging your family to join!

As the world's largest voluntary Movement for girls and young women, we feel WAGGGS has an obligation to take action and deliver programmes to reach more girls. Not only to help girls, but to develop young advocates who will create a long-lasting impact.

One great way to do this is by becoming an Olave Baden-Powell Society supporter, and encouraging your family to take part.

“I engaged my granddaughter because I would like her to recognise the importance of WAGGGS' work in her future and also to continue encouraging others to support OB-PS by starting from the family”

Hiroko Doi (Japan) OB-PS Supporter

“Donating the OB-PS joining fee for my husband gave us both a shared interest in OB-PS and WAGGGS. It gave us many new friends whom we enjoy seeing regularly and provided a focus for international travel to host countries and regions we may otherwise not have visited. I can recommend joining family members to OB-PS Supporters.

"I had followed my wife's involvement with WAGGGS for many years. When she became a donor to OB-PS I attended two events as a guest. At the event, I heard about the wonderful programmes WAGGGS was initiating, and having three daughters who have all benefited from being Girl Guides, I hope that my donation will enable WAGGGS' programmes to be extended to girls in other countries, especially developing countries".

Bruce Gibson (Australia), OB-PS Supporter

Lena engaged both her daughter Ida, as a Young Supporter, and her husband Johan as an OB-PS supporter. “Being the father of two daughters, Johan appreciates the work of WAGGGS and enjoys expanding his own international network during the OB-PS events. Ida has so far devoted all her free time to Guiding and is of the opinion that the work WAGGGS is doing for girls and young women is unique in the world”.
