Deputy Chair makes history at Presidential Inaugural Prayer Service

The World Board Deputy Chair made history this week by becoming the first Sikh American to speak at the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Service.
Sapreet Saluja lead a prayer at the service in Washington, DC, at the request of the White House on Tuesday 22 January.
President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden were all in attendance.
Sapreet is also the Executive Director of US non-profit organisation The Sikh Coalition, a community-based organisation that works towards the realisation of civil and human rights for all people.
