About the Role:
The partnership with Avon forms part of the wider Stop the Violence campaign, WAGGGS’ global flagship campaign. Through advocacy, education, awareness raising, community action and research, young girls and women around the world have been tackling gender-based violence within their communities.
As a Campaign Manager, you will be responsible for writing and developing content/resources related to violence against women and girls for dissemination in Avon publications, website and through social-media channels.
Together with Avon representatives, this role will lead a campaign developed by girls.
As a successful candidate, you will have a strong background in undertaking a full project management tasks and demonstrable experience of writing high-quality content/resources on the topic of gender-based violence.
You will have a great track record of building & maintaining relationships, with a wide range of stakeholders and have excellent verbal & written skills as you will need to engage directly with, and provide support to the MOs' volunteers, donors and staff
The ideal candidate will have a ‘can-do’ attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, be highly organised, team-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, with knowledge of other languages desirable but not essential.
