Day 5

This morning, our colour ceremony focused on Our Cabaña and we learned about YOLO - a program designed to help young participants from Africa, Asia Pacific and Arab Regions attend sessions at Our Cabana. To donate click here.

Our personal development session had us learning how to be assertive without being aggressive or passive.

We were entertained by groups drawing, dancing, and singing how they would ensure their Guiding roles are continued in the future.

This afternoon, we worked on a UNICEF puzzle in silent groups to demonstrate strategic partnerships.  Our "road rally" through Our Cabaña let us make strategic partnerships in order to be able to enjoy all of our afternoon snack.

This evening's Mexican Fiesta was amazing!  Our host country was proud to show the rest of us their typical food, a piñata and a mariachi band.  The closing was very moving, joyous but sad, reminding us all of what we have learned from each other and how we can make a change in our world.
