Swiss Guide Law

Scouts, nous voulons:
  1. Etre vrais.
  2. Ecouter et respecter les autres.
  3. Etre attentifs et aider autour de nous.
  4. Partager.
  5. Choisir de notre mieux et nous engager.
  6. Protéger la nature et respecter la vie.
  7. Affronter les difficultés avec confiance.
  8. Nous réjouir de tout ce qui est beau.
Cette loi nous lie à tous les Scouts du monde. Dans le même esprit nous voulons en particulier:

Girl Guides, we wish:
  1. To be true/truthful
  2. To listen to and respect others
  3. To be thoughtful and helpful
  4. To share
  5. To choose to the best of our abilities and to commit ourselves
  6. To protect nature and to respect life
  7. To face difficulties with confidence
  8. To rejoice in all that is beautiful

This Law binds us to all other Guide in the world, and in the same spirit we want particularly:

Development of the Movement

Between 1913 and 1916 nine groups of Girl Guides were formed independently in different parts of Switzerland. In 1919 these groups joined together to become one Association, the Fédération des Eclaireuses Suisses (FESes). A major change took place in 1987 when the Fédération des Eclaireuses Suisses and the Scout Association, Fédération des Eclaireurs Suisses, merged together to become the Mouvement Scout de Suisse (Swiss Guide and Scout Movement).
