“The WAGGGS Medal of Service is the highest form of recognition that WAGGGS can bestow and is awarded to individuals (volunteers or staff) who have distinguished themselves in their outstanding service to Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting at national and global level. The Medal of Service expresses gratitude to members of the Association whose service is considered to be exceptional, noteworthy and/or extraordinary in nature.”
Susan Campbell is OB-PS Board Member, part of the WAGGGS Nominations Committee and WAGGGS Volunteer Resource pool.
Susan’s commitment to the Movement has been shown globally within all the roles that she has played for WAGGGS. As a member of the WAGGGS Nominations Committee, she has contributed to ensuring the future of WAGGGS leadership and governance, supporting and driving a transparent process encouraging suitable candidates to nominate for positions of leadership.
She led the multinational team of young women (all under 25 years) to act as the service team for the 2017 World Conference. Her experience and skills were integral to the success of the Asia Pacific Regional Committee elections during the 2019 Asia Pacific Regional Conference in Taiwan.

Susan has contributed outstanding work for the Movement nationally, regionally and globally as an empowering mentor and role-model for staff and volunteers all around the world. Her behaviours and attitudes make others feel valued, supported and empowered to do their best.
