Programme Assistant - GLACC LAC

An exciting opportunity to provide scope, develop a project plan and manage the implementation of the WAGGGS Girl-Led Action on Climate Change (GLACC) Programme.

Locations: Latin America and The Caribbean
Hours: 21 or 28 hours per week
Fee: £800 to £1,100 Dependant on experience

About the Role:

Job Purpose:

Support Member Organisations (MO), Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Coordinator, and Programme Manager of the Girl-Led Action on Climate Change (GLACC) Programme in Latin America and The Caribbean (LAC) to reach national and regional goals through assistance on M&E and management tasks.

GLACC Programme in LAC aims to make girls and young women more resilient to climate change, and lead effective mitigation and adaptation actions on climate change with a gender-conscious approach at local, regional, national, and international levels.​ GLACC LAC is being implemented by Scouts and Guides associations in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Dominica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, St Lucia, Trinidad & Tobago.

About You:

As the successful candidate, you will assist on the development and delivery of the GLACC in one of the five countries, ensuring the programme is adapted to national context and the needs of the Member Organisation (MO).

You will be adept at working closely with MO leadership, leaders, Girl Guides and the WAGGGS Global Programmes Department.
