Job Title: Head of Region - Europe
Location: Europe, Hybrid (2 days office based& 3 days homebased)
Salary Range: Circa €55,000 Euros, per annum (dependent on location and experience)
Hours: 35 hours per week (Full-Time)
Contract Type: 12 months

The Europe Region works to deliver tailored services to the 42 Member Organisations in the region. The small staff team work with regional volunteers and external partners to provide pan-European events, capacity building opportunities and resources.
About the Role
The purpose of this role is to support, promote and deliver the strategy of WAGGGS within the Europe Region, by working with the Europe Regional Committee to ensure the delivery of the region’s value proposition to Member Organisations (MOs).
To lead WAGGGS operations in the Europe Region, to ensure the effective liaison between the region and the wider organisation, and in partnership with national Member Organisations (MOs) and external partners, when applicable, to achieve the objectives of regional action plan.
About You
As the successful candidate, you will have proven ability and resilience to operate at a senior level in an organisation with a complex legal structure and set of relationships.
You will have a strong background of working with NGOs or international membership organisations.
You will have a great track record of building & maintaining effective relationships with third parties and developing cross-functional working relationships, with staff and volunteers, in the UK and internationally.
You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude, be highly organised, team oriented and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Fluency in written and spoken English and French is desirable.
