About Us:

The Girl Guide and Girl Scout Movement is the world’s largest voluntary movement dedicated to empowering girls and young women. We create opportunities and spaces for young people across the world to learn, have fun, make friends, and develop confidence as individuals and leaders.

WAGGGS brings together 152 Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting Member Organisations across the world, who collectively reach around 9m young people. While each organisation is independent, all are committed to the shared values, principles and beliefs that, through Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting, young people can develop their full potential as responsible citizens of the world.

We are based in London, with teams across the globe delivering impactful programmes and helping to build the capacity of Member Organisations, most of which are grassroots, volunteer-led, operating in the Global South.

Through our global Movement, we provide girls and young women with opportunities to practice leadership, to connect internationally and to make change happen.
