About Our Chalet
Our Chalet is situated in a traditional Swiss Alpine Village at 1350 meters altitude. As the oldest of the World Centres, Our Chalet is an international gathering place for members and families, providing opportunities to meet and share experiences. Our Chalet offers accommodation, international volunteering programmes and a wide range of indoor and outdoor programmes.
About the role
We are looking for a Deputy World Centre Manager- Programme to be responsible for creating, planning, implementing, and evaluating all parts of the programme, in accordance with the long-term goals, strategic and operational plan of Our Chalet and WAGGGS Mission and Goals.
You will lead and have key responsibility for implementing on-site & off-site programmes for our international guests. Other duties include managing and training of the programme, volunteers & intern teams to deliver the programme of events and direct programme delivery.
As a successful candidate, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and be great at developing collaborative working relationships with staff & volunteers in cross-cultural settings.
You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude, be highly organised, team oriented and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Written and spoken language skills in English is essential, with the knowledge of other languages desirable.
