About Our Chalet

Our Chalet is situated in a traditional Swiss Alpine Village at 1350 meters altitude. As the oldest of the World Centres, Our Chalet is an international gathering place for members and families, providing opportunities to meet and share experiences. Our Chalet offers accommodation, international volunteering programmes and a wide range of indoor and outdoor programmes.

About the role

We are looking for a Deputy World Centre Manager- Operations to be responsible for day-to-day operational management of Our Chalet, in accordance with the strategic and operational plan and WAGGGS' mission and goals.

You will have key responsibility for budget management and establishment of long-term goals, strategic plans.

Other duties include managing and training of the Guest Services team to deliver in all office administration and operations.

About You

As a successful candidate, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and be great at developing collaborative working relationships with staff & volunteers in cross-cultural settings.

You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude, be highly organised, team oriented and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Written and spoken language skills in English is essential, with the knowledge of other languages desirable.
