The structure of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts is based on three bodies:
- World Conference
- World Board and its committees
- World Bureau

The World Board and its Committees
WAGGGS is governed by a World Board, made up of 17 active Girl Guiding/Girl Scouting members from around the world who are democratically elected by all Member Organizations at the World Conference. Each region elects a Chairman at their Regional Conference every three years and the five Chairmen also sit on the World Board. Read more...
The World Bureau
The World Bureau is the secretariat of WAGGGS and is located at Olave Centre, 12c Lyndhurst Road, London NW3 5PQ, England. It was first setup in London in 1928 and moved to the Olave Centre in 1984. The building, originally known as Rosslyn Lodge, was named after the First Earl of Rosslyn, who later became Lord Chancellor in 1793. Read more...
