Day 2 - Our Cabaña

Today started with learning about advocacy in a way we will never forget, acting it out in groups, and later linked this to achievement of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

We carried out activities to gain a wide knowledge of all the MDGs before focusing on the situation in our regional groups, which were then presented to all delegates.

One of the most inspiring parts of today was a talk from Mama Ceci from Ministerios de Amor, who works with street children in Mexico.

And we closed the day with our International Evening celebrating our 38 countries present at the Forum. There was a national dress catwalk, and a chance to see photos, taste traditional food, and generally get a flavour of our homelands.
