On the first ever international day of the girl on 11 October 2012, The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts asked you to help create the World we want for Girls. You responded that the perfect world for girls was one in which girls were equal to boys, that everyone’s human rights were respected, that a sustainable future for all was guaranteed and that girls were educated, safe, healthy and had decent jobs and opportunities to lead.
Over the course of the year, as we worked with girls and young women, supporters and partners around the world to help make this imaginary world a reality, we asked what was the single biggest thing that would radically change the world as we know it into the world we want?
You sent us pictures, ideas, and events that you did for International Day of Girl. Now we want to hear about how many people you reached! Fill in the Activity Log below with activies you did during International Day of the Girl 2012, and what you will be doing to celebrate International Day of the Girl 2013!
