About the Young Women's World Forums
The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts will celebrate 100 years of changing lives with a series of unique events. For the first time ever young women from around the world will participate in a Young Women’s World Forum, one taking place each year of the centenary celebrations. The first Young Women’s World Forum 2010 takes place in the United Kingdom from 19 to 24 October 2010.
|The Young Women’s World Forum 2011 will take place at the World Centres and will be open to 20 to 30 year old young women from WAGGGS’ Member Organizations. The second phase deadline for applications has been extended to 19 November 2010, so send in your registration forms to make sure you don’t miss out on this great opportunity to celebrate the centenary and develop international friendships!|
During the Girl Scouts Centenary in 2012, the USA will host the final Young Women’s World Forum.
All three events will be an amazing opportunity for young women from WAGGGS’ membership to come together and discuss the UN Millennium Development Goals.
