With ten million Girl Guides and Girl Scouts from 146 countries, the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) is the largest voluntary movement dedicated to girls and young women in the world.
Sangam, located in Pune, India is one of the World Centres of WAGGGS. It is an international gathering place for members and families, providing opportunities to meet, share experiences and learn together. Sangam seeks a dynamic individual with a passion for people and a desire to work in a diverse international environment to be the next Programme Coordinator.
The Guest Services Coordinator will lead the Guest Services Team and have key responsibility for ensuring a positive experience for guests by coordinating all elements of the guest experience and managing staff in this area. You will take responsibility for customer service, bookings, Sangam’s shop, finance management and administration. At the same time you will contribute to the Senior Leadership Team at Sangam and have opportunities to be part of providing a life changing experience for all who come through the doors.
You should have excellent management, administration and interpersonal skills and experience of working with and leading others in an international team.
This is a fixed term contract position with an immediate start for a two year term. The successful applicant will work on a rota schedule covering days, evenings and weekends. This post is residential for people outside of India and board and lodging is provided.
