Deadline extended for Fifth World Centre Rwanda event!

We are pleased to announce that we have extended the deadline for the ‘Stop the Violence’ campaign training, taking place from 6-11 May 2013 in Kigali, Rwanda. Applications now close on Thursday 14 February 2013, so apply today! Don’t miss this special and limited opportunity to participate in one the WAGGGS Fifth World Centre pilot project events! This event is open to intergenerational and intercultural participants, which includes both young women under 30 as well as women over 30 from all around the world who are willing and interested to work on the Stop the Violence campaign back in their home countries.

Along with the opportunity to foster leadership and advocacy skills, participants will take part in a community visit and learn more about gender based violence through non-formal educational activities and through the experiences of the Guides Association of Rwanda during this week-long event.
