Roll Up, Roll Up! The circus is coming to town!

From the 3rd to the 9th August 2014 you could join over a thousand Brownies, Guides and Senior Section members from around the world at a unique International Camp.

Girlguiding Warwickshire’s 7th International Camp will have a circus theme and will include a full circus performance that every camper will take part in led by our professional on site circus company! You can also take part in a rante of zone activities which include a day long adventure in Birmingham (Discovery) and a full camp day trip to West Midlands Safari Park (Sideshow).   More information on the zones can be found on our website:

As well as these great activities the Spinning Plate Coffee Shop will provide a space for girls to take a breather and learn more about our international friends.  You can also purchase limited edition Arden merchandise and badges from our trading posts.  We are also offering  a unique leader/staff zone called the Lions Tamers Caravan as well as a crèche for leaders children. 

We will be taking over Blackwell Adventure in Worcestershire for our fun-filled week, situated in the heart of England this stunning location will allow campers to explore the vibrant city of Birmingham and relax in the countryside.

Who's going?

Brownies, Guides and Senior Section members of guiding from across the world (aged 7 plus for UK groups).

International Information

The deadline for International applications is 1st April 2014

The costs for camp for our International friends are as follows:

International Girls (aged 10+)


 £200 + bank charges (payable in your home country) – includes £40 food costs which are passed to host units

International Leaders



£100 + bank charges (payable in your home country) – includes £40 food costs which are passed to host units

International Service Team incl Core Team (aged 14+)

 £30 + bank charges + food ordered on a meal basis (costs tbc, likely to be around £40)


Children (non Guiding members) doing activities


As Campers (under 18)



(non Guiding members)

not doing activities (e.g. accessing crèche or remaining on sub camps)


    £20, this includes site fees         and day trip.

Included in the costs for International girls and leaders are:

  • Camp t-shirt
  • Camp badge
  • Site fees
  • Necker
  • Day trip off site
  • All activities
  • Transport to and from camp (from Birmingham International Airport/Train station).  A shuttle service will be in operation from Birmingham International to camp and back again. Additional transport arrangements can be put in place for those arriving early early to the UK or leaving late but use of the shuttle service on 3rd and 9th August preferred. Contact the International team (details below) for more information.
  • Food (NOT for Service Team)

You’ll need to bring a sleeping bag and all personal kit but tents and other camp equipment will be provided by your host unit.

We have a dedicated International Team who will be your first port of call in advance of camp and while on site. They will be able to advise you about kit; match you up with a host Warwickshire unit and answer any queries about home or group stays before or after camp.
