Stand up campaign 2010

Pakistan Girl Guides Association -Stand up 2010

Girl Guides and Girl Scouts spoke out against poverty by taking part in Stand Up and Make Noise global action in September 2010.

The event coincided with the UN MDG+10 Summit in New York, where world leaders gathered to review progress made on the Millennium Development Goals 10 years on from their inception.

You can watch the videos of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts all over the world making noise to raise awareness of the issues.

Every human being has inalienable rights that should never be taken away such as the dignity of having food and basic necessities afforded to them. Every child has the right to be fed loved, protected and cared for. As a Guide it is our duty to help those in need and those who cannot help themselves and ensure a better future for all of mankind. Join the fight against poverty and hunger eradication and be the change you want to see in the world.
