Are you sure that you are up to date with what is happening at the conference?
The World Conference is a great place for our Memeber Organizations to get together and make decisions that will shape our Movement for the next 3 years.
During this years World Conference we will be nominating new World Board members, introducing our CIO Constitution, and going over proposed motions. Make sure you read all of the associated conference documents on the documents section of the World Conference website.
In addition, there is one more Conference Document to review before conference:
Conference Fee Structure
The World Conference is being asked to approve the approach to setting registration fees for future World Conferences, based on the results of the ‘pilot’ fee structure used for this 35th World Conference. A paper was circulated with recommendations based on the assumption that the pilot fee structure would be successful in achieving its aims. However, at the time the paper was produced there was insufficient information available to demonstrate whether it had or had not been successful. We have now carried out a full analysis of all the delegates who registered, by quota band and age group; compare the results with those for 34th World Conference. This supplementary paper provides the results of that analysis and will help you decide how to cast your vote on the Motion. You should also note that the “Deeper Understanding” sessions on Quota, which will take place in Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, will now also include a short session on the Conference Fee Structure.
We couldn't make this conference happen with out you!
Whether you are going to the conference or staying home, each and every single person of the movement has helped shape Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting around the world, and we wouldn't be able to put on such a great conference without you.
And a huge thank you to our key sponsors who have helped to make this Conference happen: Dove, UPS, Metlife, Girl Guides of Canada to name but a few.”
