WAGGGS partners with Time for Climate Justice

5 August 2009

The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) is now a partner with the tck tck tck – Time for Climate Justice campaign, which tries to ensure that people everywhere are free from suffering due to climate change.

The tck tck tck-Time for Climate Justice campaign is creating an online petition that will be targeted at the world leaders attending the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen in December, demanding that they make fair and robust decisions that deliver a just climate deal. And you can be part of it.

You can watch the message that WAGGGS World Board Chair Margaret Treloar recorded, encouraging Girl Guides and Girl Scouts all over the world to join the tck tck tck campaign to fight climate change.

Become a Climate Ally

Simply upload a video of yourself saying tck on the website www.timeforclimatejustice.org  and join WAGGGS’ leaders and other distinguished personalities such as Kofi Annan, Desmund Tutu, Bob Geldof, Jet Li, Lily Allen, Rajendra Pachauri and Wangari Maathai in the fight for climate justice!

Together we can create the biggest human clock of all time and show that climate change really does have a face, together we can make a difference.
