Peak experience in leadership development
Fifty-one young women from around the world took the journey together in their quest to become better leaders by participating in the Juliette Low Seminar 2008.The theme, Peak Experience in Leadership Development, was quite appropriate for the event, as Our Chalet is situated up in the mountains (4,500 feet above sea level).
The programme
The programme was divided into four parts. All activities are geared towards helping participants define their peak and equipping them to reach it. Read more about the programme.

SO FAR SO VERY GOOD. THERE CAN NEVER BE A PLACE WHERE GIRLS AND YOUNG WOMEN WILL FEEL SO SAFE AND 'EXPRESSIVE' OTHER THAN GUIDING. FOR ME LEADERSHIP IS A NECESSARY EVIL (COS IT CAN GET TRICKERY AND STUFFY SOMETIMES) IN MAKING EVERY GROUP, ORGANIZATION OR SOCIETY PROGRESS.BEING A JULIETTE LOW 08 PARTICIPANT REALLY ENFORCES THIS VALUE FOR ME AND I AM GLAD TO BE HERE WITH ALL THE 'WOULD BE' LEADERS OF THE WORLD TRYING TO MAKE THINGS HAPPEN.I LOVE GUIDING AND I LOVE ALL GUIDES/SCOUTS. The Seminar is a life time opportunity for me. For I believe that at the end of the seminar I will be a great leader who will be able to lead others in in the right direction. The Seminar has already taught me that leadership is a process and requires alot of commitment in order to meet our goals.
I believe that this opportunity for me is also an opportunity for my organisation and the young people that I work with.
To the planning team, I say congratulations and thank you for being patient with us.

There are thousands of places where girls like me would like to help the society and enviorment by starting Guiding.
All we need is some help &
cooperation.
I Hope this Seminar will discuss things related to this. And also give advice to girls and young women who are interested in starting guiding at their school or at their community.
