What we do

ireland2.jpgThe World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts works with many national, regional and international organizations and alliances to further its mission to enable girls and young women to develop to their fullest potential and become responsible citizens of the world. It has partnered with the United Nations for over 60 years. JLS Kenya Brownies.jpgThrough its Member Organizations and through working directly with girls and young women, WAGGGS delivers high quality non-formal educational programmes and international opportunities that provide girls and young women dynamic, flexible and values-based training in life skills, leadership and citizenship.

Hi, I'm from Aruba and I'm a leader. I love to learn and tell others what I had learnt, what I'm learning and what I'm still learning from others.

I was a Girl Scout for 7 years in my childhood, and now my daughter has just enrolled as a Daisy Scout, and I am training as a leader. This is a wonderful organization that can teach girls so much, and I am proud to be a part of it, and to share it with my daughter.

Hi, I was a member of guide association in Lebanon for more than 12 years and I still have interest about this movement. I spend the best days in my life in guide. I can't forget these days with my friend. I want to say thanks because I get a lot of good things from this experience and I am happy because I am part of this world organization.

I've been a girl scout for...(counts on my fingers) ...between 10-11 years now (Yeah, I know, I'm a bit old to be a girl scout...But hey, being a senior has its perks). I believe the issues page has a lot to offer, considering that this is what the world is dealing with at this moment. AIDS/HIV, poverty, and everything else.
