It works closely with Member Organizations and is responsible for developing the programmes available to Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world. Other main areas under its care include leadership development, recruitment and retention. As most of the work is carried out in the field, sub-committees from each of the five regions and one made up of representatives from the four world centres, report directly to this group.
