This web-site is SO COOL! To be able to write to Girl Scouts and Girl Guides all over the world! WOW! I will have to tell everybody about it. I look forward to reading what others write. I am from Michigan in the United States. We are teaching about Italy this year for Thinking Day. One of my scouts just got back from Italy and brought some wonderful things for our display.

Hi,
I would like to wish guides around the world "Happy Thinking Day". Think about the water that we use every day and think about those who are in need of it.

Hello, rangers from all over the world. The John Teye Rangers are proud to be a part of this association. As we celebrate our thinking day,we would like to elaborate on the theme for this year,"water."Water as we know is life.Do you know that one is suppose to drink a gallon of water a day?Do you do that? Here in Africa and in other parts of the world so many people are deprived of good quality drinking water. How do you use water? Lets look at this simple experiment. Taking a bath under the shower requires about five times more water as one who fetches a bucket of water to use. "A Guide is polite and considerate" so when using water THINK of others all over the world who may not have as much water to use. HAPPY THINKING DAY.

Hello, I am a brownie troop leader in the USA and we chose the Dominican Republic to speak about for Thinking Day. Are you called Girl Scouts like us or Girl Guides? Also, how do you celebrate Thinking Day there?

My favorite part of Girl Scouts is camping. Our troop goes to a two-night camping trip at Grove Point. The last theme was Laura Ingalls Wilder and we all had tons of fun playing the games, making rag dolls, and shopping at the "general store". This year's theme is greek mythology. I can't wait!

Hello girls from all corners of the world!
I was a part of the movement for a total of 12 years of my life, collecting memories, stories, and crests. My campfire blanket is 60% covered from my Brownie, Girl Guide, Pathfinder & collection patches and I love to wear it while I attend my classes. I have the opprotunity to make a presentation about WAGGGS & the Girl Guides of Canada for a college class and it will be my best work ever! :)

Joing the Brownies in 1977 was truly one of the greatest turning points in my life, although I didn't realize it back then........ Looking back (as I often do), Scouting gave me so much confidence, it really prepared me for everything in life. It certainly helped me make the decision to travel to Turkey, where I met my wonderful husband and settled. Now, my eldest daughter, after hearing stories of camps, and lots of songs, has joined a Scout group in Ankara, Turkey, and I feel so proud that she is joining this great circle of friends. When the time comes, I will certainly be encouraging my younger 2 children to also join. What I really want to say, I guess, is thank you so much for all the happy times that I had, and I hope that you will all continue to do the same for the future generations of Guides.
